3 Point Front Strut Brace Installation on Honda Civic EM1, Acura Integra DC2

We have received a number of email asking us why the 3 point Ultra Racing strut brace does not fit.

As some of you may not understand, the brace mounting points are angled and not straight. The mounting points are not your typical 3 part braces, where each part can be installed separately.

In order to install our one piece solid strut brace, you must release the shock from the body to give the angles of the strut brace mounting points room to move.

Once the studs from the shock or coilover are dropped away from the shock towers, the brace can be installed.

We recommend a second pair of hand that can help guide one side. At the same time the brace is being aligned, you can then bring the shock or colover back into the towers mounting points.

The example below was installed on a Honda Civic EM1, which has the same tower structure found on the Honda EK, Honda EG and Acura Integra DC2.

Our brace will be a tough installation if you do not remove the shock studs away before installing the strut brace.

We hope this helps out, if you have question of the installation, contact us. We will help you as much as possible.
